May 14, 2007 Labcon attended the 7th ACHEMASIA Exhibition and Congress on Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering in Beijing, China. This was the first time Labcon had exhibited at a conference in Asia. The event was a success drawing attendees from throughout Asia.
January 29, 2007 Labcon was awarded the 2006 VWR supplier of the year for private label consumables at the VWR North America sales conference in Orlando. Labcon is proud to be considered an important partner of VWR.
September 22, 2006 Underwriters Laboratories certified the Labcon quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 after the close of the most recent 6 month audit of the company's program. This represents the latest in almost 10 years of continous quality acrreditation for Labcon. September 10, 2006 Labcon introduced its latest catalog. The 2007 catalog includes the new updated Urine Time II 24 hour urine collection system and over 90 other new products. This catalog is available now from your nearest distributor. August 30, 2006 The SuperClear™ Centrifuge tube product line has been updated to include a new plug style screw cap for both the 15mL and 50mL tube sizes. With this addition the SuperClear™ product line is one of the most extensive lines of centrifuge tubes offering superior perfomance to other major brands of tubes. |

Flextop™ tips from Labcon are proven to mount and eject from a wide range of pipettors with less force than it takes to mount and eject onto some so called "light" pipet tips. And you don't need to buy special pipettors to get all the benefits of low force pipetting. They are unlike other tips because they use high quality flexible plastic resin that mounts onto more pipettors easily with very little force so you need much less force to eject them.
In the photo below you can see how thick and hard the plastic is on most pipet tips. This means you have to jam the tips and pound hard on your pipettors to get the tips to mount making it really hard to eject the tips. |
