Labcon celebrated 50 years of continuous operation in February.
The anniversary was marked with a company-wide party and presentation highlighting the past 50 years of Labcon history.

Labcon Partners with Telles
Labcon signed an exclusive agreement with Telles, a partnership of ADM
and Metabolix. This partnership agreement gives Labcon access to the MIREL® family of compostable, biodegradable resins. Labcon plans to use Mirel® as a part of many new products including the Eclipse™ family of products.

Labcon introduces PerformR™ line of centrifuge tubes
The PerformR™ line of centrifuge tubes expands on the performance
and value of the SuperClear™ tubes. The PerformR™ line of tubes bring Labcon quality within reach of more labs.
PerformR™ tubes are available with either a flat cap or plug seal cap and are gamma irradiated to ensure valid medical grade sterility.
The racked version is packaged in our new reusable polypropylene racks that eliminate wasteful foam racks and can be repeatedly autoclaved.

Labcon registered to ISO 9001 for twelve consecutive years.
UL-DQS certified the Labcon quality management system in compliance with the latest ISO Quality Standard ISO 9001:2008 after the close of the most recent 6 month audit of the company's program.
This represents the latest in 12 years of continous quality accreditation for Labcon to the international ISO standards.
Date coding now provided on Labcon products
Unlike what you might think, plastics do age. And over time they become less pliable. So old pipet tips will no longer fit your pipettors in the same way they did when they were freshly made. And tubes may not close as well, or start to leak.
Many suppliers hide the manufacturing date on their products or don't have one at all, or even will tell you that plastic never changes. But we know that plastic resins age and will not perform as well after two or three years.
Because of this Labcon date codes all of our disposable products. Even our non sterile items. So you can be sure the products you get will perform well on your pipettor and in your centrifuge.
