All Labcon SuperClear™ culture tubes are precision molded with a round-bottom, perfect for a multitude of general laboratory uses. Labcon SuperClear™ culture tubes have thicker walls for greater strength in handling and centrifuging.
Made of virgin polypropylene in natural colors or in clear virgin polystyrene. Polypropylene tubes are autoclavable to 122 C; freezable to -90 C; and can be centrifuged to 3000 RCF. Polystyrene tubes are not autoclavable, but have a nominal temperature range of -40˚ C to 90˚ C, and can withstand 1500 RCF.
All caps are made of low density polyethylene for a secure seal and are available in a plug style or dual position design that permits sample aspiration.
