Since we serve the healthcare, biotech, and pharmaceutical industry we have been designated an essential business and we are asked to remain open. It is important that we stay operational to serve our customers and deliver products to researchers and healthcare providers during the current situation. We take seriously our responsibility to educate and protect our people in order to minimize the impact of this Pandemic.
To effectively remain open during this time we are taking the following steps:
We have asked those that can work from home to do so until at least April 7.
Our Sales team has been asked to minimize travel for at least until April 7.
We have suspended all international and domestic air travel until at least April 20.
In our facilities we have implemented a program of physical distancing and changed shifts to allow the maximum separation between our employees. We are following guidance from the U.S Centers for Disease Control for minimum distances.
We do not source components from China and we have no items affected by shortages at this time. We are monitoring this situation very closely as we make the components for COVID-19 diagnostic kits.
Our customer support is available and functioning normally by phone, email and online chat. You can place orders and receive updates on orders you have placed as usual.
Our stock positions are changing daily but we are continuing to make and ship product every day. As we have a reduced facility census some lead times may be longer than expected. Please check with us on critical items.
In some cases transportation, sterilization, and shipping are slower that normal. This is simply because some areas have shut down transportation. We are managing this the best possible to prevent disruptions.
